Woodend is a fifty minute drive from Melbourne CBD. Just head straight up the Calder highway towards Bendigo. Take the exit marked Woodend and Daylesford, this will take you on a picturesque drive through the Black Forest where in days gone by Bushrangers would hold up the stage coach on its way through. No bushrangers have been sighted of late but be careful of the wildlife – kangaroos wombats echidnas and ducks.

Should you wish to relax on the train, the Bendigo VLINE from Southern Cross Station is a direct one hour journey. We are a five minute walk from the station but we are more than happy to pick up by prior arrangement.
